Baking cookies

Although it's summer, the weather is not always permitting us to go outside. So we baked cookies instead, which was a lot of fun. The girls were trying very hard to make round balls from the dough, of which you can see the results here:







And then we had to wait (love this photo):



Well, I'm proud of them anyway :)

Studio Mae Engelgeer

Dutch designer Mae Engelgeer develops her own fabrics and makes the most amazing cushions, baby blankets, tea towels, scarfs, little purses and more with them. The fabrics are woven in the Textiles Museum in Tilburg.

The muse collection is an ode to her muse, the bow:






The fest collection is an ode to the graphic pattern:






I would like to have all of her tea towels:








The new collection is called WOWW and the fabrics consist of a mixsture of mohair, cashwool, cotton and acrylic yarns:






Love the graphic patterns and colors. I'm also very curious about the fabrics, they seem very soft and comfortable. Definitely on my wish list.

Gold leaves

So clever! I should really buy gold paint spray, get some leaves outside and make a collection of pretty gold leaves.
